1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Songpot Live is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [LEGAL FORM], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [RCS/SIREN] ("we"). These terms apply when you use Songpot Live through an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT), our website, our API or our emails. Using Songpot Live means you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. The service

Songpot Live is a free guide to live music, art openings and record shops. We collect listings from public sources and from organisers, suggest events, and link to where you can buy tickets or listen.

• We don't sell tickets. Purchases happen on the seller's site (DICE, Ticketmaster, the venue…) under its terms. We are not a party to that sale, and refunds, cancellations and entry are the seller's and the organiser's responsibility.
• Listings can be wrong or change. Dates, line-ups, prices and availability come from third parties and change often. Check with the seller or venue before you go.
• AI-written text can be wrong. Short artist notes, genre tags and reasons ("because you like…") are partly written by AI models and checked only in part.
• Links. Some links may earn us a commission from the seller at no cost to you. This never changes the order of results. (remove until an affiliate link is live)

We may change, pause or stop parts of the service. It is in beta: expect rough edges.

3. Your account

You need an account only for personal suggestions and the weekly email. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from your profile. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, after telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

4. Fair use

Don't:

• copy or harvest our listings or database in bulk, by scraping, automated queries or through an AI assistant, or use them to build a competing service (our database is protected by the EU database right);
• get around rate limits or access controls, or probe or disrupt our systems;
• send us illegal content, or submit listings you have no right to share;
• use Songpot Live to harass, spam or contact people listed in it for unsolicited marketing.

Personal, non-commercial use of the results, including sharing a link with friends, is fine. For API or data access at scale, write to [hello@DOMAIN].

5. What you send us (listings, notes, replies)

When you add an event, venue or artist, or send us text, images or feedback, you:

• confirm the information is accurate to your knowledge and you are allowed to share it (including any poster or photo);
• give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, edit for length and format, translate and publish it in Songpot Live and in its promotion (including social posts about the listed event), for as long as the listing is relevant, and
• agree we may decline or remove it.

You keep your rights. Ask us at any time to remove a listing you submitted.

6. Organisers, venues and artists

If you are listed and something is wrong, or you'd like a listing removed, write to [hello@DOMAIN]; we aim to correct within [2 working days]. Listing is free and does not depend on any commercial relationship with us.

7. Our content

The Songpot Live name, design, editorial text and database belong to us or our licensors. Event facts belong to no one; posters, photos and artist text belong to their owners and are shown to identify the event, with a link to the source. If you believe something infringes your rights, write to [legal@DOMAIN] and we'll act promptly.

8. Liability

Songpot Live is free and is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: errors in third-party listings, cancelled or changed events, purchases made on other sites, or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll post changes here with a new date and tell account holders about important changes by email at least [15] days before they apply. If you disagree, you can delete your account.

10. Law and disputes

French law applies, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Write to us first at [hello@DOMAIN]; we'll try to solve it. Consumers may use a free consumer mediator: [MEDIATOR NAME AND WEBSITE] (required in France before we charge anyone; recommended now). Otherwise, the competent courts are those set by law.
