← MIRA Digital Arts Festival 2026

Hypercompressed breaks, gabber-weight kicks, jungle edits and digital distortion collide with Sean Kelly’s live kit, Lucy Caputi’s guitar and Matt Stephenson’s shredded vocals. Expect abrupt rhythmic pivots, mosh-ready punk passages and very little empty space.

More about Machine Girl

Matt Stephenson began Machine Girl on Long Island in 2012, with drummer Sean Kelly joining the live project in 2015 and guitarist Lucy Caputi becoming an official member in 2024. WLFGRL connected footwork, breakcore and internet rave culture; the expanded trio now folds metal and punk instrumentation into that electronic framework.
