Cameron Winters grew up in rural northern Scotland before entering Glasgow’s inclusive experimental club circuit. The self-released Suture EP drew attention from Aphex Twin, whose repeated plays of her SoundCloud tracks led to international bookings and, eventually, an XL Recordings deal.

After seeing videos of Aphex Twin playing her SoundCloud tracks, KAVARI initially thought it was a joke.
