Samarah
Samarah is a Paris-based trio of musicians led by Françoise Ruscher on violin, Soraya Sehili on oud and vocals, and Lucie Louvrier on percussion and vocals. The project began in 2022 and centers on music from the Mediterranean and the Arab classical tradition, with repertoire touching Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and flamenco influences. It has also been presented in connection with performances and readings in Paris.
