AMW 24/5 DJ Marathon 2026

Wed 21 · 12:00 · Amsterdams Most Wanted Radio · Amsterdam
For the 11th year running, AMW returns to Amsterdam Dance Event with our legendary 24/5 DJ Marathon. We are welcoming you straight into our home base: “The Bunker” at NDSM, located inside a historic UNESCO heritage site. Hidden away in the industrial edges of the shipyard, these raw premises become a sanctuary for electronic music from Wednesday through Sunday. For 125 hours straight, the outside world fades away, driven by a sound system custom-tuned to deliver a deep, exceptionally warm sound that you can feel in your chest. Inside The Bunker, the soundscape constantly evolves. The music is carefully curated to match the exact energy of the hour, shifting seamlessly from deep daytime grooves into driving, peak-time energy as the sun goes down. It is a continuous, 5-day flow where established names and upcoming talents share the decks for one reason only: their absolute love for good music and the craft of a proper set. Follow the bass to the NDSM wharf. Our doors are open, transforming the space into a heavy, unfiltered sweat box where the music never stops. Come as you are, find your spot, and become part of the AMW legacy. We dance together. Event Details: Dates: 21-10-2026 – 25-10-2026 Location: AMW Headquarters (The Bunker), NDSM-Plein 86e, 1033 WB Amsterdam Entry: Free entry (Full = Full) House Rules: https://amsterdamsmostwanted.n... At NXT Museum, as part of ADE Arts & Culture 2026, EarthSonic presents two new premieres of new music, immersive installations, and a live AV set by Paranoid London, along with an exclusive in-depth discussion. The night starts with Roland's Electronic Petting Zoo, an interactive station built from EarthSonic's field recordings. It is a project by the Malaysian NGO Pertubuhan Kolektif Seni Budaya Sabah in partnership with EarthSonic, The University of Manchester and the British Council. Natural Symphony travelled to Sabah's rainforest to capture plant and star data on the ground, which was combined with the field recordings and footage captured by the rest of the team to provide the source material for new music by Paul Hartnoll (Orbital) , with the finished installation created by visual artist Ben Sheppee (Observatory) and Alastair Lomas. Two Seas tells the story of two bodies of water at opposite ends of the climate crisis: the melting Bothnian Bay in Oulu, Finland, and the vanished Aral Sea in Muynak, Uzbekistan. Music created by Paranoid London with Finnish and Uzbekistani artists, and immersive installations created by Ben Sheppee (Observatory) and Matt Black (Coldcut) . The project turns recordings from both seas into a live audio-visual performance and installation, using techno to tell one of today's most urgent climate stories. Two premieres of installations, an indepth discussion around making music with nature, the planet and indigenous communities, one live AV show by Paranoid London, one live performance by Natural Symphony, one petting zoo.

Interactive Workshop with Giulio Beja & Veronica Motta and Listening Session with Mark Knekelhuis

Thu 22 · 18:00 · café40 · Amsterdam
“What if creating a more accessible, safer, and inclusive nightlife isn’t about adding more rules — but about changing how we show up in the space?" Giulio Beja and Veronica Motta are ’Spazi Sensibili’ , a project that explores accessibility, safety, and inclusivity within club and night culture as practices of collective care. Together, we will question who gets to feel safe, visible, heard, and free on the dancefloor — and who is still being excluded. Through hands-on exercises, collective mapping, real-life nightlife scenarios, and open discussion, we will explore how discrimination and exclusion can show up in night spaces, while reflecting on our own experiences, perspectives, and capacity to intervene. Rather than offering fixed solutions or more rules, we focus on building awareness, confidence, and practical tools for collective responsibility and action: How do we notice? How do we respond? How do we look after each other? An invitation to move beyond awareness — to unlearn, challenge, experiment, and co-create nightlife where difference is actively welcomed, protected, and celebrated.” The session will be accompanied by a listening session with Mark Knekelhuis, creating space to connect the themes explored with music, sound, and collective experience. Entry is free until full capacity. For this edition of ADE, café40 welcomes (dis)comfort : a three-day programme rooted in the belief that music can, and should, create collective spaces for awareness, dialogue, and reflection. Born from a desire to reconnect with ourselves and those around us, the programme invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and make space for meaningful exchange. Throughout the programme, Sasha Todorovska and Virginia Gianni will present their artworks in the space. Discover the full programme at Café40 here .
