Listening Session & Bites with Disco Arabesquo
Disco Arabesquo digs through vinyl and cassettes from Egyptian cinema of the 70s to the 90s: warm, sample-heavy grooves with more melody than kick drum. A listening session with Egyptian snacks from Qibli Bahri.
EINDER by Boris Acket
EINDER by Boris Acket is a slowly shifting audiovisual environment of spatial sound, moving fabric, motors and light. Walk, sit or stand inside it as acoustic orchestra, electronic elements and changing motion pull the piece through day and night.
Premiere: Two Seas and Vinorun
EarthSonic's premiere at Nxt Museum: Paul Hartnoll with Natural Symphony's installation, Paranoid London's raw acid house live, and Coldcut's Matt Black in conversation. Art first, then the 303s.
Dome Concerts presents: CATCHING FLIES - visuals Julius Horsthuis
Catching Flies and Julius Horsthuis bring soulful melodies, deep basslines and fractal dome visuals together in ARTIS Planetarium. Expect live-instrument feel, detailed rhythms and immersive animation that syncs electronic music with a planetarium setting.
Motie - Thursday (Opening Night)
Motie turns the Stopera, city hall and opera house on the Amstel, into a home for the city's night culture for three days. The opening has Young Marco's psychedelic, left-turn sets, Jonny Nash's slow-blooming guitar ambient and Oceanic's live minimal techno.
THE FUTURE IS SOUND at ADE
Ruthlss and Portrait XO move between piano-led electronic writing, processed voice, data sonification and audiovisual performance at The Stargate. The night sits between composed passages, club percussion and synthetic textures, with sound and image both doing the work.
Dome Concerts presents: GIDGE - visuals by Julius Horshuis
Gidge and Julius Horsthuis turn Fabrique des Lumières into a field-recording-and-light space, with warm synthesisers, distant vocal fragments and restrained rhythm under fractal visuals. The set leans into organic electronics, cinematic ambience and architecture as part of the sound.
Dome Concerts presents: ANDERT TYSMA featuring Maarten Hogenhuis - visuals Julius Horsthuis
ANDERT TYSMA’s piano, strings and subtle electronics stretch into slow ambient-classical harmonies, with Julius Horsthuis adding fractal visuals in the dome for a sound-and-image drift.
