Futures of Listening presents: Currents | Workshops: Ambrio Spatial Mixer & More

Sat 24 · 13:00 · Loods6 · Amsterdam
Futures of Listening comes to Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 with Currents , a four-day programme of experiments and performances in spatial sound at Loods6 , from 22 to 25 October. Alongside three evenings of live and DJ sets, the programme includes two days of hands-on workshops and demos and a closing spatial sound meetup, bringing together artists, makers and the wider community around the tools and techniques of spatial sound. During Saturday afternoon, we’ll offer everyone who’s active as a DJ or live performer the chance to get to know Ambrio’s new spatial mixer. There will be a demonstration, you’ll be able to try out the mixer yourself, and there will be discussions with the artists who work with it and the creators at Ambrio. More news about the programme, including a masterclass in spatial sound, will follow very soon. Free entry. Presented by FIBER Festival, 4DSOUND, Ambrio, and CTM Festival as part of Futures of Listening.
