XEXA
Príncipe artist mixing chamber pop and kizomba
Based in London, United Kingdom
Pop
XEXA’s music puts a striking voice over arrangements that move between nocturnal pop atmosphere and kizomba-derived pulse. The edge comes from contrast: chamber-pop detail on one side, sensual Angolan dance rhythms on the other.
More about XEXA
She sits close to the Príncipe label’s Angolan-diaspora club world while keeping a more song-led, vocal approach than most of the catalog. The label context matters: Príncipe has become a key point of reference for Lisbon-linked club music, and XEXA is one of its more singular voices.
