Warp-presented trio with string ensemble
This is a chamber-pop and contemporary composition project, with Mabe Fratti’s cello and voice, Clarissa Connelly’s singing and writing, and Mark William Lewis’s understated songwriter approach carried by Sinfonietta Cracovia. Expect bowed strings, close-miked vocals, and arrangements that lean toward slow-burn tension rather than club pressure.
The three artists come from different pockets of the current experimental-pop map: Fratti from Guatemala’s cello-driven avant scene, Connelly from Denmark’s art-pop and compositional world, and Lewis from London’s singer-songwriter fringe. Warp’s Providenza concept frames them as a temporary ensemble rather than a fixed band, and the Sinfonietta Cracovia connection gives the debut a full orchestral edge.
