Researcher mapping occupation tech and filtration systems
Based in Kyiv, Ukraine
This is a performative lecture, not music: writing, animation and zine-making arranged around surveillance, biometric extraction and border control. The programme text places the focus on Sheremetyevo airport’s filtration procedures and how they extend state violence into occupied territory.
Ksenia Rybak works at the intersection of technology, space and violence, with research centered on Russian technologies of occupation and their implications for Mariupol and frontline areas. She also co-curates independent experimental electronic events in Kyiv and edits a zine on local music practices.
