Jawnino

London rapper threading drill, rap and R&B

Jawnino’s records move between clipped UK rap cadences, roomy low-end and hooky, slightly ghosted melodies. '40' sits in that broken, post-drill lane; 'Amnesia' with SURF GANG pushes the songs tighter and more confrontational, with production built for sharp drums and quick switches.

More about Jawnino

He came up with 2019’s 'It’s Cold Out' and has stayed close to London’s genre-blurring rap fringe. The 'Amnesia' release ties him to Surf Gang in New York, with crew members including Evilgiane, Harrison, Cajm, 3o, Goner, Flea Diamonds and Eera credited on the record.
