Cyst

Iglooghost and daisy*’s experimental hip-hop project

Experimental electronicHip-hopIDM

Listen on Bandcamp

Built from early-2000s experimental hip-hop shapes, then pushed into hyper-detailed electronic production. Expect clipped drums, warped bass, busy edits, and vocals treated like another layer of texture rather than front-and-center rap.

More about Cyst

Cyst is Iglooghost and daisy* (formerly BABii), two UK artists who have worked together for years before formalizing the partnership. Unsound frames the project as a meeting point between IDM and underground hip-hop production, with Cannibal Ox and cLOUDDEAD as reference points and a maximalist finish.
