Tanzana build slow-burning songs from punchy drums, melodic bass and weaving, effects-heavy guitars. Freya Talbot moves from close, silken vocals to a full belt, so the set should swing between dreamlike restraint and dense alternative-rock climaxes.

More about Tanzana

The five-piece formed in Glasgow in 2023 and developed through rooms including King Tut's and SWG3 before appearing at TRNSMT and The Great Escape. Their debut EP Etched In arrived in October 2026 through SO Recordings and Hideous Mink Records, placing them alongside the latter label's angular UK guitar roster.

A story

“Pulse, Pose, Position” began with its drum part; the band added instruments and sections gradually.
