PISS

Vancouver noise-punk quartet splicing hardcore, poetry and documentary collage

Based in Vancouver, Canada

RockNoise

Listen on Bandcamp

PISS lurch between corrosive hardcore riffs, atonal noise, slowcore dropouts and spoken interludes built from interviews and field recordings. Taylor Zantingh moves from recitation to growls and full-throated shrieks; live, the quartet turns those sharp structural breaks into a confrontational performance ritual.

More about PISS

The band grew from Vancouver's femme and queer underground, with guitarist Tyler Paterson, bassist Gavin Moya and drummer Garreth Roberts surrounding Zantingh's collage writing. Sub Pop signed them worldwide in 2026, with Paper Bag handling Canada; their debut album arrives on October 30, eight days before this Paris set.
