British-Norwegian five-piece turning feminist frustration into sharp, danceable indie pop
Based in Liverpool, United Kingdom
Compact, bass-led pop built from jagged guitars, electronic beats, spoken interjections and layered group vocals. Expect a brisk full-band set balancing chant-ready hooks and comic bite with the darker electronics of Little Sticky Pictures.
Katya Birkeland, Lily Christlow, Thea Gundersen, Mia Halvorsen and Maria Tollisen met at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts; four came from Oslo, while Christlow is from Yorkshire. They emerged through Liverpool's DIY parties and venues, then won Norway's NRK P3 Urørt competition in 2025 with "Flink Pike." Their records foreground collective writing and women-led production, video and technical crews.
