Slow-to-midtempo songs assemble twin vocals, viola, live electronics, field recordings and sample loops into unstable pop collages. The Silencio set should move between hushed drone, dub-weighted rhythm, glitchy jazz and rougher guitar noise without losing the duo’s soft melodic center.

Magdalena McLean and Annabelle Mödlinger are Austrian musicians who met while playing in The Umlauts and settled independently in London’s experimental scene; McLean also plays violin in caroline. Curbside Lambsear gives them a smaller writing unit, with their debut EP issued by the London label Scenic Route.
