French-Mongolian soul-pop led by voice and 21-string yatga.
Based in Paris, France
Dessberg sets the yatga’s bright, rippling strings against soft guitar, warm bass and loosely swung drums, moving from spacious instrumentals to intimate multilingual vocals. Her current live formation adds guitar, bass and drums, giving the quieter folk passages a supple psychedelic-soul pulse.
Her recent records connect Paris songwriting with the New Jersey studio circle around That’s Love Records and members of Thee Sacred Souls. Since April 2026, she has also hosted a monthly NTS show spanning Mongolian music, soul, jazz, dub and songwriters from across the world.
