Manow and Clateman formed Bassvictim in London in 2022 after an unfriendly first meeting in Berlin and a reunion outside Peckham Audio. Their scrappy releases place them in the same electroclash revival conversation as Snow Strippers and The Hellp, while Forever also swerved into strings, piano and indie-folk textures.
