Arima Ederra

Airy alternative R&B folding folk, soul and psychedelic detail

Based in Los Angeles, United States · From Atlanta, United States

R&BFolkArt pop

Listen on Bandcamp

Ederra sings in a light, honeyed register over acoustic guitar, softened drums, warm bass, keys and occasional orchestral or woodwind colour. A Rush To Nowhere stretches folk and R&B rhythms without crowding them, making this a patient, voice-forward concert rather than a beat-driven set.

More about Arima Ederra

Born in Atlanta to Ethiopian refugee parents and raised in Las Vegas, Ederra began with poetry and open-mic nights before moving to Los Angeles in 2016. Working repeatedly with Teo Halm and a close LA circle, she has built a strand of indie-facing R&B concerned with memory, lineage, freedom and non-linear time; A Rush To Nowhere arrived through Arima's Lab and RCA in 2026.

A story

She first began singing while hosting poetry open mics in Las Vegas, where she was encouraged to cover Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill and Little Dragon.
