Queer mythic club music pairing siren vocals with hard techno
Based in Paris, France
Shell's productions move from submerged ambient pads and heavily reverberated voices into pounding techno and gabber-weight kicks. This advertised DJ set should favour the harder, brighter side of that palette while retaining pop vocals, theatrical transitions and aquatic atmospheres.
Alexi Shell developed her solo project within Paris queer parties including Barbi(e)turix and Wet For Me, while drawing on Athens rave culture and Greek mythology. Her eight-track album Sirens paired electronic music with a queer fantasy story, and she was selected as a 2023 Inouïe du Printemps de Bourges.
After graduating from the Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux in 2018, she moved from clothing design into performance and then music production with Isis Lherm.
