Parisian gabber cut with trance euphoria and orchestral composition
Based in Paris, France
Aamourocean pairs hammering gabber and hardstyle kicks with bright trance leads, pitched voices and abrupt sentimental breakdowns. Ulysse Klotz’s classical and soundtrack work also surfaces in choral, guitar and orchestral passages, but this club-night appearance points toward his fast, emotional DJ language.
Klotz’s project is tied to the Parisian Casual Gabberz orbit, where French hardcore was recast through pop, internet culture and trance melodrama. Away from the rave material, he composes for film, made the orchestral forest work Borne with Detente and forms PLEUR with Rallye singer Baptiste Betoulaud.
Borne began with guitar improvisations recorded in 2021, which were later rearranged for orchestra.
