Live news headlines rebuilt as a shifting audiovisual information cloud
Based in Barcelona, Spain
Visitors type keywords, and incoming news headlines become overlapping, multiplying and dispersing audiovisual fragments. Rather than songs or a beat-led performance, the piece runs as a data-responsive environment whose density changes with each search.
G.L.I.T.C.H. was developed by Digital Arts student Anna Zabrodskaia at La Salle–Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona. It sits within the school's presentation of student projects joining art and interactive technology, with mentorship from Carlos Anselmo del Pino and Victor Barberán.
