Mechanical spiders assembled, programmed and awakened in public
This is an open workshop-installation rather than a fixed musical performance. Welding, assembly and moving mechanisms provide the physical soundtrack as sensor-equipped spiders gradually begin reacting to bodies, distance and temperature.
Toni Pedrá treats construction as part of the artwork, exposing the Arduino, ESP32 and sensor systems instead of hiding them behind a finished shell. Across the festival, the work moves from loose legs and bodies to a functioning robotic group with illuminated, laser-equipped heads.
