Corprès
Body-led analog improvisation pushed into noise, absurdity and feedback
Based in Barcelona, Spain
Corprès builds dense, unstable sound from analog synthesizers, contact microphones, circuit-bent electronics and effects. Expect physical gestures to trigger scraping vibration, overloaded drones, broken pulses and glossolalic voice rather than a fixed sequence of tracks.
More about Corprès
Corprès is the solo alter ego of Barcelona-based drummer, composer and performer Joan Torné. He comes from the city’s free-improvisation and experimental-sound scene, treating bodily movement and electronics as one instrument rather than separating musician and machine.
