VOICES

VOICES is a V-Day project spearheaded by aja monet, centered on Black women’s stories across the diaspora and tied to the wider anti-violence movement. The Le Guess Who? programme adds a post-listening discussion with writer and cultural programmer Simone Zeefuik, artist and storyteller Noleca Radway, and moderator Aliyah Niambi DeVaughn.

aja monet also leads Voices: Poetry for the People, a workshop and collective with Community Justice Project and Dream Defenders.
