Kevin Martin and Michael Fiedler in bass-heavy dub collision
Slow, low-end pressure with raw drums, echo trails, and stripped-back chord haze. Expect a set that sits between sound system dub, dub techno drift, and blunt industrial bass weight, built for deep sub movement rather than peaks.
The Bug is Kevin Martin’s long-running bass project, tied to London’s grime-adjacent sound system culture and the PRESSURE label imprint. Ghost Dubs is Michael Fiedler from Stuttgart, whose 2024-26 run has centered on a darker dub techno / bass continuum; their joint release Implosion is the obvious reference point here.
Ghost Dubs’ Oblique was released on 25 September 2026, and the release text says Michael Fiedler has been drawing praise from Justin Broadrick, Regis, Stefan Betke, and Steve Von Till.
