MEMORIALS
Two-person psychedelic pop band operating like a wired five-piece
Based in Canterbury, United Kingdom
Verity Susman's voice, organ, saxophone and bass meet Matthew Simms' guitars, drums and electronics in songs shaped by Farfisa figures, tape loops and dubwise low end. Live, the pair juggle instruments and reel-to-reel loops to approximate a five-piece, leaving room for psych-rock surges and free-jazz interruptions.
