Gimic
Bristol DIY punk quartet with math-rock angles
Based in Bristol, United Kingdom
Post-punkRockHardcore punk
Fast, tight hardcore punk with sharp guitar lines, locked rhythm section work, and a confrontational vocal delivery. The band’s records lean on stop-start dynamics, angular riffs, and the kind of precision that keeps every hit landing hard.
More about Gimic
Gimic are from Bristol and have put out their own music through Bandcamp and Drunken Sailor Records. They sit in the UK DIY punk lane: short releases, direct songs, and a style that pulls from hardcore, math rock, and the no-frills musicianship of that whole circuit.
A story
Sean Forbes called them four people who live and breathe DIY punk.
