Dubplate Pearl
South London selector from jazz to reggae
Based in South London, United Kingdom · From Notting Hill, London, United Kingdom
Dubplate Pearl plays from a deep collection rather than a single genre lane, so expect warm reggae pressure, jazz records, soul sides, calypso, and older soundsystem cuts. The pacing should be patient and heavyweight, with selector moves that let the records breathe and the bass carry the room.
More about Dubplate Pearl
She comes out of Notting Hill and South London record culture, shaped by parents who listened across jazz, soul, calypso, reggae, and pop. Le Guess Who? places her inside 24 HOUR DUB, which fits her role as a long-form selector rather than a peak-time club DJ.
