This is a communal dinner rather than a performance: chefs and cooking volunteers serve food drawn from their culinary traditions while guests eat and exchange stories. It occupies the pause between the afternoon workshops and the evening Culture Shock concert.

De Voorkamer is a community space on Kanaalstraat in Utrecht where language learning, crafts, food, music and storytelling bring together people from different backgrounds. Its recurring dinners use a shared table as a low-threshold meeting place for newcomers and longer-term Utrechters.
