Hyperpop producer-singer with guitar and post-punk bite
From United States
Bright, cut-up pop with punky guitars, heavy compression, and sudden left turns into club rhythm. The current material centers on the 2026 album `U`, so expect tight song structures, sharp hooks, and a live set that swings between bratty pop and blown-out electronic detail.
April Harper Grey started the project in her bedroom and built it through DIY internet pop before moving onto Mom+Pop. The project sits in the same post-SoundCloud lane as hyperpop’s second wave, with credits and collaborators around 100 gecs, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, Alice Longyu Gao, glaive, Whethan, and renforshort.
She started making underscores tracks in middle school, alone in her bedroom on GarageBand.
