Van-built ritual electronica with folk voices, toy instruments and psychedelic drift
Based in Turin, Italy
Davide Meucci builds unhurried, free-flowing pieces from synths, voices, field recordings, organic and homemade instruments. The newer material adds toy instruments and psychedelic folk sequences, moving from suspended ambience toward loose, cathartic rhythm.
Regno Maggiore belongs to Turin's Gang of Ducks orbit, where Italian experimental traditions meet ambient, folk ritual and skewed electronics. After the open-air travelogue Astroveliero and the autobiographical Esasummà, 2026's La Poesia Dell'Infinito Presente pushes his music closer to song and dancefloor release.
His 2026 album took shape on long drives across beaches, forests and provincial roads, with his van serving as both studio and headspace.
