Caterina Gobbi
Field-recording artist and DJ threading ecology into leftfield electronics
Based in Turin, Italy
Gobbi’s own recordings layer voices, environmental sound, broken rhythms and musique-concrète detail into loose, drifting forms. For this Gang of Ducks club date, expect a DJ set connecting meditative soundscape material with stranger, more rhythmically pointed electronics.
More about Caterina Gobbi
The Italian artist works across sound, sculpture and performance, moving between Turin, Berlin and the Alpine landscape. Gang of Ducks previously invited her onto its Kiosk Radio residency in 2024, a natural fit for the Turin collective’s overlap of club culture, ritual and environmental thinking.
A story
Her 2020 cassette began as an exhibition soundtrack, premiered live through loudspeakers disguised as sculptural creatures.
