San Pio moves through 1990s and 2000s downtempo, trip-hop and dub, using deep bass, acid traces and post-punk shadows rather than obvious peaks. Her sets can open into broken jungle and drum & bass while retaining the hazy, intimate pacing suited to C2C HQ's daytime slot.
She is a Turin-based vinyl collector and Radio Banda Larga resident, where her monthly Diffrattempo show connects ambient, dub, post-punk, acid, deep house and broken rhythms. That residency places her firmly inside Turin's independent radio and selector network; she has also played Nextones, Jazz:Re:Found, Jazz Is Dead and previous Club To Club events.
