Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

As a DJ set, Weval should sit in the intersection of club momentum and their songcraft: warm synth lines, broken percussion, low-slung bass, and a more cinematic arc than a straight utility set. Their own music points to midtempo movement rather than peak-time pressure, with room for haze, hooks, and detailed arrangement.

More about Weval

Weval are Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers, a Dutch duo from the film world who began making music together in Amsterdam in 2010. Their official pages and Bandcamp place them on a lane that crosses left-field electronica, breaks, and ambient techno, with releases on their own site and a steady presence in the live-electronic circuit.
