VANCO
Afro house DJ bridging tribal percussion and melodic techno
Based in Johannesburg, South Africa · From South Africa · Plays most in London, Johannesburg, Amsterdam
VANCO’s sets sit in afro house with a techno edge: percussive drums, rolling bass, emotive toplines and a glossy, festival-sized build. His SoundCloud and profile text point to house, afro house, tech and deep house in the mix, with enough swing for sunset slots and enough drive for a peak room.
More about VANCO
He comes out of Johannesburg’s house scene and has been active since 2014, according to his mix pages. Releases and guestmix bios also place him across international house labels and in the orbit of afro-house and global club programming.
