Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Torus sits between misty ambient pads, beat-driven electro, and tightly programmed club shapes. The records lean on distant vocals, 808 pressure, and soft-focus synths; live, that usually means a more textural, detail-heavy version of the same world.

More about Torus

Torus is Joeri Woudstra from The Hague, first released on London’s Sonic Router in 2012 and later on Rwina Records. Rwina’s Bandcamp describes the 2014 Temples EP as coming from The Netherlands’ Joeri Woudstra aka Torus, after earlier Sonic Router releases. A story

Rwina’s Temples page calls the opener “Ethereal,” and credits the track with distant vocals, synth ostinati, drum patterns, and heavily verbed claps. Source (fan or blog page)
