Osaka DJ-composer and yell0w school founder
Based in Osaka, Japan
RA identifies Toru Ikemoto as a Japanese DJ and composer, and his own orbit is tied to Osaka’s yell0w school and the Ute/Trance scene. For ADE, expect something that can move between faster and slower tempos across the room, with a trance-leaning, club-focused floor shape.
Ikemoto is part of Osaka’s yell0w ecosystem and the wider Ute collective, which RA describes as the group behind Ute.Rec and its sub-labels Sinensis and Translusid, plus parties in clubs and forests in Oslo. That puts him in the current Oslo/Osaka trance-progressive network rather than a generic techno lane.
