Thee J Johanz
Dutch house-and-techno original with acid and cosmic detours
From Netherlands · Plays most in All, Goa, Amsterdam
His sets move from deep house and techno into Italo, protohouse, cosmic disco, and acid. The festival bio makes clear he works both live and as a DJ, so expect a vinyl-minded, genre-crossing club set with plenty of warm synths and tougher drum-machine sections.
More about Thee J Johanz
He was part of the first generation of Dutch DJs bringing Chicago house and Detroit techno into the Netherlands. The bio names Irdial Records in London as the label that launched his early release run, after which he recorded under several aliases on many labels.
