German techno duo behind Drumcode-era peak-time sets
Based in Germany · Plays most in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg
Teenage Mutants sit in the muscular, dramatic end of techno: big low-end, hard edges, and hooks built for a packed room. Their festival text and RA tags point to peak-time techno with melodic and tech-house spillover, so expect forceful drum programming and a lot of tension release.
The duo started out throwing parties in Hamburg and became a regular fit for the Drumcode ecosystem, with releases also on Filth on Acid and Terminal M. They’ve also built their own TRAGEDIE imprint, which keeps them anchored in the harder German techno circuit even when the arrangements get more melodic.
Their festival bio says the project began with a party at Hamburg’s Baumhaus on the Reeperbahn. In their own words
