Hanyo van Oosterom comes out of Rotterdam and the Dutch ambient lineage around CHI and Chi Factory, with roots in indie, punk, jazz, hip hop, funk and trip hop before settling into ambient work. The Oude Kerk performance fits that history: site-specific listening, organ resonance, and an older Dutch experimental thread rather than a straight festival slot.
