Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Chunky 4/4 house with tight drum programming, jacking percussion and dirty, clipped highs. He leans on raw grooves and a sturdy low end rather than big-room lifts, so expect a set built for pressure and swing.

More about Sidney Charles

He comes out of Hamburg’s house-and-techno lane and has been releasing since 2011. Resident Advisor calls him a label boss with enough authority that a whole strain of house has a label around it, and his own Heavy House Society sits at the center of that world. Discogs shows him tied to Avotre, Cécille, Hot Creations, Moon Harbour, Saved, Suara and other house/techno imprints, which fits the broad club-function side of his catalogue.
