Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

She leans into raw, uptempo techno with rolling movement and a push for dancing. The RIOT and ANTIDOTE recordings suggest a set that stays tense and forward-moving, with little interest in smoothing the edges.

More about Selene

She is based in Groningen and is a co-founder of RIOT, which she uses to push female+ talent through raves and radioshows. Backhaus also identifies her as an ECHO Recordings resident, which places her inside the Dutch underground techno network rather than a one-off party circuit.

A story

RIOT’s SoundCloud bio says she co-founded the collective to widen perspectives for female+ artists. Source (fan or blog page)
