Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Scan 7’s live approach sits in Detroit techno’s tougher corridor: stuttering machine funk, rugged drum patterns and roomy synth lines that can stretch without going soft. The ADE bill says this is part of a four-decades Detroit showcase, so the set should lean on classic Motor City pressure rather than contemporary polish.

More about Scan 7

Discogs and Resident Advisor both frame Scan 7 as a Detroit underground collective tied closely to Underground Resistance, led by Lou Robinson / Trackmasta Lou. Their name has been attached to some of the more muscular, no-frills Detroit records, and they sit in the line that connects early-UR severity to later club hardware.
