Tomiie plays house built on long arcs, clean drums and a lot of low-end discipline. The records around him run from dark, dubbed-out grooves to smoother, vocal-led cuts, with piano and chord work sitting just under the surface. At ADE, expect a DJ set with proper build rather than peak-hour smash-and-grab.

More about Satoshi Tomiie

He came up in the late-1980s house network around Frankie Knuckles, and his debut single "Tears" is one of the scene’s core records. He later worked with Ryuichi Sakamoto and has kept a foot in Chicago/New York house through releases on his own Abstract Architecture and labels like No.19, Kaoz Theory and Yoyaku-related imprints.
