Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

SAMO works the classic house end of the room: disco loops, jacking drums, chunky basslines and the occasional old-school hip-hop lift. The festival billing for a daytime slot and a DJ tribute night suggests a set that leans warm, grooving and record-driven rather than hard or glossy.

More about SAMO

He comes out of Rotterdam’s nineties techno ecosystem and later settled back into underground house, with references to New York, Chicago and French house in the festival bio. That places him in the crate-digger lane of Dutch house DJing, where the funk and the jack matter as much as the four-to-the-floor.
