Breed’s work is about spatial placement as much as timbre: quiet details, silence, and acoustic depth matter as much as the source material. In a talk setting, he is there to get specific about how surround systems are built, installed, and used in real commissions, from fashion to installations.

More about Salvador Breed

He is a co-founder of 4DSOUND, the Dutch spatial audio company that has been used for installations and fashion presentations. 4DSOUND’s own pages credit him on projects including Chanel presentations and note his work in spatial sound design and software development.

A story

4DSOUND says Chanel first inaugurated the system in November 2013, with Breed credited on the presentation’s sound design. In their own words
