Songpot · Amsterdam Dance Event 2026

Expect locked-in house and techno, with the cleaner end of Detroit and Chicago in the blend. The festival notes point to cassettes, sample-heavy detours, and enough variation to keep one-hour vinyl sets from sitting in one register.

More about Rimco

He moved into Rotterdam in 1992 and worked at Hotsound, the Rotterdam shop/label hub tied to Erik van Vliet’s Hotsound Records and Stealth. The bio puts him in the early-'90s Codix rave world and in Poland as one of the first DJs helping house land there, so his reference points are the pre-mainstream Dutch rave circuit and the first wave of Eastern European club culture.
