Two-ring light installation for live AV dialogue
Proximare is a light system with two circular structures, with sources moving along their paths in a loop of attraction and repulsion. In the ADE context it sits behind Daniel Gazit’s live keyboard and polyrhythmic performance, so the piece is being used as a visual counterpoint rather than a standalone concert.
The installation comes from Lumus Instruments and premiered at Mapping Festival at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire in Geneva. Here it’s paired with Daniel Gazit for a live AV performance built around spatial translation, chance operations and audio-reactive movement.
