presented by: Spotify

Phiona Okumu is Spotify’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, and has spoken publicly about amapiano’s global spread and Spotify’s role in supporting it. Ronny Ho leads dance and electronic editorial, and helped curate the Jasmine playlist for Asian artists; Mark Abou Jaoude is Spotify’s Head of Music for the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan; Ben Patashnik has been described by Spotify as a music-business editor/manager with more than 10 years in the industry. The session is about cross-market editorial, not artist curation in the club sense.
